Gen sub.\u00a0 The crew boards \u2116 92 sitting on the main at Derby Jct and begins working the MoPac and Bonne Terre sub interchanges.\u00a0 You\u2019ll frequently see lots of empties coming from Bonne Terre as well as lead loads.\u00a0 The MoPac forwards a lot of bridge traffic across the river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seventeen miles north of Derby Jct sits Millers with a single industry &#8211; Shapiro Brothers scrap metal [pronounced with a long \u201ci\u201d as in <em>shuh-py-ro<\/em>].\u00a0 There is a loading module fixed to the fascia trim to use when loading.  Each gondola takes 60 seconds to load.  I prefer live loads, but there\u2019s not an automatic crane.  You will have to use the 5-fingered variety &#8211; I&#8217;ve also provided a &#8220;track broom&#8221; for the inevitable scrap spillage.  Use it, or face the real possibility of a derailment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just north of Weingarten, you\u2019ll come to the yard limits.\u00a0 Hold here while awaiting entry clearance from the yardmaster before proceeding.\u00a0 Once inside yard limits, no need to worry about switching as all of the local industries are handled by other trains.\u00a0 There are semaphores at the grade crossing just beyond Ste. Genevieve and be prepared to stop.\u00a0 You may need to contact the Tower Operator if he does not see you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stay in contact with the Yardmaster as you near the Ste.
